BROKEN BUT NOT DESTROYED
Inspired by the Book of Obadiah
if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land. (2 Chronicles 7:14 NKJV)
At the hands of ministry too many have been broken and shattered, beaten to a pulp with unsound doctrine, harshness of the word, subtle control, and carnal divination masked as prophecy and insight.
Yes, the Word of God is sharper than a two edged sword, but God loves those He corrects. The wrath of God is for His vengeance, not man’s condemnation.
Like the people of Edom, rejoicing over the children of Judah in the day of their destruction; inwardly the wolves in sheeps clothing are rejoicing amongst those who mourn. They are entering the gate of God’s people in the day of their calamity.
Sin is still sin, right is still right, and wrong is still wrong. How we approach things has changed. We can’t assume the unsaved or the perceived are willingly walking according to the flesh. We have no idea what they’ve endured inside the walls of the church. We have no idea just how damaged and bruised they are on the inside, regardless of what the exterior presents.
Innocent youth have been comprised, caught in the crossfire and left bewildered by the fallout. But the God of recompense is restoring their belief and confidence in the foundation they once trusted without doubt.
Many have grown weary rebelling against spiritual wickedness in high places. But God is redeeming the times in these last and evil days; that we walk circumspectly, not as fools but as wise. Our weapons of warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ. No longer do men have to labor by the sweat of their brow, they willingly serve the Lord with gladness and genuine conviction. No longer are we belittled by idleness, we are pressing toward the mark of the prize. No longer are we subdued by a lack of authentic guidance, our steps are being ordered by the Lord. No longer are we succumbing to our circumstances, we are being remolded by The Great I Am! Brokenness and despair has been our gateway to joy unspeakable and life anew; it has been a rough journey but the testament of endurance that’s led to unsurpassable peace is our reward.
We'd love to hear from you! Be encouraged in the Lord.

I'm so glad I read this today! You have no idea. . . There's definitely peace in knowing that we can {still} CATCH UP!

As I continue to grow spiritually and change the things I can and allow God to work out the things I have no power to do anything about, I experience a sense of peace the really surpasses all of my understanding.

Yes, stand and fight! There are times when I wonder about the choices I've made and as I reflect during those trying times or stressed or worried or confused times, I realize I did not allow my self time to truly be engulfed in God's presence. What I've found out is that when I allow my self time as the spirit leads me into his presence I'm balanced and at peace again and clarity has come!
